    I think I missed the answer , did you guys that cut your jerry can holder to fit your Scepters have to do so because it hit the small spigot ( water can spigot ) or did it contact the large main screw cap ( gas cap ) ?

    for me it was the small one
    but there is no need for any of that....
    all it needs is the top flat plate
    anything else and you have to remove the whole plate to open them....
