    You don't play in the poop water so I can see it not being needed on your truck, but we shall see if you need it this weekend :spy:

    If it's the actual performance you modified your tubing right out of the box along with modifying the grill for it. Two things I would never do out of fear for messing with the engineering.

    Never heard anyone complain that kept it stock. I'm also still getting 2mpg better with it then without it and that's with a fubar engine.

    By my quick guesstimation it paid for itself long ago on my truck.

    It's possible that one of those cones might be sucking in more air than the stock box setup, but that second filter is useless. But without the box or anything to shield those filters from heat, the only real benefit here is probably a meaner sounding throttle.

    It's still pumping gas in there too which isn't contributing. So the same amount of gas is being sent in, but you're only getting 5/6 of the power from it, and the other five have to keep pushing that dead weight around so they aren't working as well as they should. In the end somewhere less than 5/6 of the output from the same amount of fuel.

    Yeah, if it's completely not firing it would just suck in gas fumes then blow them back out the exhaust.

    It still fires.

    Not one code has ever been thrown by my engine except for once when I was in the poop water at a meet (same meet Dalton & Eddie fried their alternators).

    Although that's assuming it's not firing because of lack of spark or maybe poor compression. Could be because of lack of fuel. Or timing could be off. Any number of things could be wrong. I forget what the current theory is in mr. xxxx's case.
