both are great options. I have demello bolt on hybrids. Anthony has CBI bolt ons. 4x innovations are going to probably be cheaper, but more work to bolt on I believe. for mine and BAMF all you have to drill are the ones on the bottom edge of the frame. and for that you just use a floor jack to jack the drill up to the frame like a reverse drill press.

 

I'm leaning towards Demello sliders they look really good. Thanks again Josh LOL

I got mine powder coated and I'm really happy i did. I still have to touch them up with black spray paint when I scrape them on rocks, but it holds up so much better than just spray paint. my front bumper, skids, and drive shaft all need to be touched up much more often than the sliders.

 

I have a welder if anyoneneeds welding. They say your not supposed to weld toa frame other than behind rear spring perch.

the rear spring perch is on the rear axle, not the frame, and where have you heard that?

nothing wrong with it, just saying it requires more touch up than powder coat. are yours bolt on or weld on?

 

Weld on. Powder coat is nice, I was thinking about getting my bumpers powder coated when I get them. The problem I noticed with touching up the powder coat with the rattle can is I haven't been able to find a perfect match and you can always see a slight variation in the color.

 

Front and rear bumper would be nice to have powdercoated since they scrape a ton less than sliders so they would basically be maintenance free.

After getting my sliders in bare steel and painting them I would 100% spend the money for PC. Paint sucks, though it's easier to touch up, mine has chipped, scratched and rusted off and I need ot paint them in the spring

 

I use krylon dual satin black for all my armor. I'd say it matches great.

I build mason dumps at my 2nd job that require frame altercations. Manufacturers say do not weld to frame other than behind rear spring perch...must be a warranty thing.
Do I agree with it? NO. I prefer welding over bolting but on the flip side if something bends or breaks a bolt on is easier to remove.

 

I ordered my front and rear p/c from the manufacturer. After spending that much I didn't want to have to mess around with "finishing" the product - I wanted to get to cutting so I could install them!
I've seen some less than stellar finish jobs on these aftermarket bumpers and it boggles my mind. How could you spend thousands on one then be happy with a shitty paint job?!?!
