Lol well when you are towing someone who is snowboarding behind a truck it tends to draw some attention especially in the semi ghetto. I wish we could have done that shit longer, it was so much fun. How fast did you end up going anyway? The video looks slow but it felt pretty damn quick.

 

What area of Vernon are you from. My dad live in Vernon I'm very familiar with that area. Your not kidding when it snows up there it really snows haha

 

see thats fuckin bull shit. I have a CDL so we're not allowed to work more than 18 hours in a row. different work than plowing, but before that the guys used to ride the double time train from 12 hours to whenever it stopped.. sometimes 3 or 4 days. now we have to do 18 on 8 off and go right back to straight time at the beginning of the shift.

 

I'm with the county and we go for days. We only stop for 2 hours after every 24 for that Maggie's law thing (apperently it's supposed to be 4 hours sleep but we only get two). They say the cdl laws don't apply to us because we aren't driving threw different states and it's a weather related emergency service or some crap. After a storm like this one we just had it kicks your ass.

 

Wrapping up plowing (township) at 3 today will have been here for 38 hrs.dead tired but money will be nice. I have had enough snow already.

yea i can understand they don't want long haul truckers falling asleep at the wheel. But I work on power lines, I'm driving less than an hour at a time and then out of the truck working. stupid laws...

Now a 16 hour shift is typically the most, unless it's an emergency.. then 18
