Nah, too much snow and too cold to do it at the apartment. I'll be doing it over spring break, along with trying to clean some rust up and trying to build a box for all my spare parts, fluids, etc lol

its held on by one bolt you un bolt it then its free to move wherever you can fit it. Its got some wires hooked to it not sure what its for

 

Depending where you put the switches you don't need that at all. Can just cut a rectangular hole and pop the switch in.

Only to pop the rocker off the switch with out breaking the rocker. And if you want to remove the rocker you probably don't care if you break the rocker.

Anyone have any idea on what to make / use as a plug for the top of a sensor? My engine coolant temp sensor wire was cut. I took off the plug and took the wire with end out of it. Due to the brittleness and age, the plug cracked and I can't seem to find a replacement. In the top of the sensor is the wire connector, so I connected the wire to it. Now I just need to prevent water and whatnot from getting in there. Was thinking about RTV. Any thoughts?

They make it as liquid electrical tape

why order 2 ends? how many switches do you need in a row? Screw splitting them unless you have to. Get the size you need. They have singles, doubles, tripples, six packs etc. I think the only ones you need to make are 4 & 5. Everything they have isn't on their sites.

Call them and talk to someone. Their new website is having issues. OTRATTW.com is the old & .net is the new. .net rocks but I had issues last week so I just called them. I checked again last night and it was still down. For looking at what you need use .net.

in that instance I would just get a double to make it easier

So it looks like I'll be able to make my clutch last till the Rausch trip but I will probably change it before then because wheeling would definitely kill it. Any of you guys ever done a clutch before on these trucks? I want to tackle this myself with the help of whoever is willing. I know it's kind of difficult due to the weight of the transmission and what not. If it isn't something that I can get some spare hands for, or someone with experience, do you guys know any reputable shops? I don't know any in my area unfortunately and the last shop we went to for Jenny's car tried to bend me over.
