    You 2nd gen guys do have stock skids right? The tires will pay off more on the RC trip than aftermarket skids will.

    Garbage is better than nothing. Should still deflect fine and since everything is nice and slow4lo you shouldn't be taking any hard hits unless you start playing on blacks. Personally I'd say tires would be the better route to go but if you can afford both by the time the RC trip rolls around then go for it?

    Word I forgot you were only a maybe. Super jelly of the sliders though. I just can't wait to get my clutch done so I can wheel again. If the marlin crawler one doesn't come in stock in two weeks I think I am just going to order the trail gear ceramic one.

    I've herd good things about urd and center force clutches. Just a few other options might be worth looking into. Next paycheck is gonna have 48 hours of overtime and 8 of double time, I think this is a good time to pick up some sliders:D

    URD has a competition kit for my truck, overkill IMO and out of my price range at $500. Marlin crawler and TG are both around $300 and have had good reviews by many 1st gen owners.

    Good lookin out though man.

    Most 1st gen guys recommend true OEM or a heavy duty aftermarket option if you do any kind of wheeling. The ones on rock auto are fine for street use but it's a different ball game when you are constantly feathering it and shit. I'm good with the $300 price tag since it's still cheaper than true OEM but not as expensive as a competition clutch. Ideally it should hopefully last me another 180k like this one did.
