Yeah they created the marketing experience to hopefully gather more investors for the project. Worked well since it went viral instantly.

Does anybody know about radio antennas? I bought a stub to replace the oem and when I switched them the radio only worked while touching it, when I let go it would cut out to static. Is there some sort of ground the stub isn't picking up?

Much rather get money back than have a surprise bill. Look at it this way, say you get $3000 back for your tax return. If you instead had that in your pay and invested it at 3% you would make a measly $40 in interest in a year. Personally I would rather "lose" $40 to avoid an unexpected $1700 bill right after the holidays.

Not sure if we are screwing ourselves but I think it just adds up the same at end.... my wife and I both get taxed as single and no dependants throughout the year and then we file joint and claim our son and all the other stuff like property taxes and interest med bills etc. We haven't had to pay uncle Sam and he always pay us since we started doing this...

    No.

As a result of the Reciprocal Personal Income Tax Agreement between Pennsylvania and New Jersey, compensation paid to New Jersey residents employed in Pennsylvania is not subject to Pennsylvania income tax. Therefore, New Jersey residents may not claim a credit on Schedule A for taxes paid to Pennsylvania on such earnings. However, New Jersey residents may claim a credit for taxes paid to Pennsylvania on other types of income (for example, business income or gain from the sale of property) which are taxable in both states by completing Schedule A.

Please note that the New Jersey/Pennsylvania Reciprocal Agreement does not apply to the income or wage tax imposed and collected by the City of Philadelphia or any other municipality in Pennsylvania. Thus, a New Jersey resident who works in Philadelphia and pays city wage taxes may claim a credit for the taxes paid to Philadelphia.

Not sure how you did your taxes, but I have been using Turbotax since it came out and I have never had an issue doing them myself while being a NJ resident/homeowner and working sometimes up to three jobs in PA. It could not be easier.

Yea short antennas suck. No idea why anyone would go with a stubby?

I just put a 102" whip on for my CB a few months ago.

Shorter then antenna the crappier it is. Pretty simple. :D

All that really matters is how you file at the end of the year. How you get taxed on your pay just dictates what they take out each paycheck. When you file that's when you figure out how much you actually owe. If you are getting money back and that's how you like it then you're doing it right. It's all personal preference, some don't like "loaning" the government money. I prefer a worst case of owing nothing and usually getting money back.

Anyone know how to do taxes for someone that runs a small business? Or could point me in the right direction?

I agree. I withheld WAY to much last year though. Already took care of that months ago though.

I'm always amazed at how long people draw this tax shit out. I filed in January before you could really even file and had my money spent the first week of February :D

It seems I was taxed PA tax and I should have filled out a form for PA to not withhold PA taxes as I would only be taxed NJ. My NJ return has not been accepted yet but once it does I will hopefully be able to amend it.

    wut

Stop thinking of them separately. PA withholds your taxes like it should and it is counted as paying NJ taxes. You don't "stop" paying PA taxes so you can "pay" NJ taxes. You pay PA and it's considered the same as paying NJ.

The whole reason NJ and PA are reciprocal is to make it easy to do your taxes and keep the tax code simple. This is also why I laugh when people say they are going to move to PA because NJ taxes suck.....if you live in one state and work in another it makes zero difference as far as I know.

Per law they must mail by end of January. I think Feb 2nd is the cut off :notsure:

Except if someone else fucks your taxes up you're liable while Turbo Tax guarantees it's system. Try getting a independent tax guy to do that for you.
