Looks like NJ is following MD... New magazine ban bill was passed.

 

yeah really effective law making there! :doh: It used to drive me crazy that I couldn't get the 30 round magazines for my Saiga but now the 15 round magazine that came with the gun is gonna be illegal.

 

I'm not sure how your ban is written. Can you go into PA and get them and bring them back?

 

I have no idea and TBH I have been following NJ laws as strictly as possible so I don't suddenly become a felon. I'm switching my residency to VA in a few weeks so I can carry and I won't have to deal with that shit anymore

 

Lucky you, we in MD can't carry with a permit from any other state =( and even out of state people can't legally carry in this shit hole. Can't wait to go back to TN

 

yeah - I've heard both MD and DC are nightmares.

 

MD just had a poll come out that said nearly half of Marylanders would move out of the state if they could.

 

Not to burst your bubble zak but I don't think you can carry in nj with any other states permit.


And yep. Banning High capacity magazines is retarted. How do they expect less people to be killed by putting a limit on capacity? You can just carry a bunch of mags and swap them out... this is what happens when people who don't own guns make gun laws...

And let's be honest.. It's not usually the legally purchased guns that do the killing. Why would those people care if the state has a capacity limit when they can buy a hi cap mag somewhere else. I understand if the law is to make it illegal to sell them, but you can't keep people from owning them.
