    :notsure: won't know til after I am out of basic! I hope I am somewhere around here... I know the waters really well here since I have been navigating them since I was 6 or 7 but if not I am GETTING FAR AWAY :D thinking Alaska or the PNW


    Edit: basically you get to pick 4 regions you prefer and youll get one of the 4 regions so ill be picking all of the east coast and than maybe Alaska or PNW or Cali.

    You are going to be doing basic down here in Cape May, which I believe is one of the last basic training centers for the Coast Guard. I use the gym there every now and then.

    You will also get a couple weekends too. I usually see the recruits walking around Rio Grande every weekend and sometimes Wildwood.
