WHAT? Wouldnt it make more sence to hit the PA turnpike to the NJ turnpike, to the parkway?

If a meeting point is decided upon I would just as soon meet there. Assuming I can make it andI don't have to scratch up my truck.

I have been exploring the pines for over 30 years, so here's a couple routes to try.
Meet at the Atsion Ranger station on Route 206 (across from the lake) or from 206 take Carranzza road and meet at Memorial (just stay on Carranzza for about 6 miles, you can't miss it on the right).
If choosing Atison, take the dirt road (South-side of the Ranger station-Quaker Bridge Road) all the way to the bridge, cross the bridge and make the first left (push pole road). Take this for several miles until it comes to a major crossroad (will be a sign on a tree (I think push pole is the name!?) and turn left. Following this brings you to Carranzza road.
    Alternately.......
From Carrannzza road, continue East, road becomes dirt--keep going. After about 2miles or so you cross a bridge (Speedwell) and continue straight. This road is narrow (1 car wide). Stay on this road, crossing over another bridge and passing the hawkins bridge campground--continue straight. After about a mile you will reach another major intersection (Washington pike), turning left here will bring you out to blacktop and eventually to Rt. 563 where tuning left will take you back to Chatsworth. OR, you could turn right at the major intersection and follow that all the way to Batsto.
Most of the dirt roads do not require 4x4, but be careful of puddles. Some puddles can be deeper than you think and may have logs, etc hidden below-enter slowly but always keep the wheels rolling.
