I won't be able to make it if it's Saturday. I'm still down in Wall and my wife's family is coming to our house tomorrow for dinner and I have to be there. Sunday would be a possibility but still couldn't guarantee it.

Just saw Oswego mention this in the Wharton thread... Any objection for two more trucks?

How bad are the trails at this place, and how far is it from wharton?

I looked it up, its a little more than 2 hours. What time and where is everyone meeting? I think I saw it mentioned, but can't remember, and I'm too lazy to go check, lol.

    no truck now :(
So is this a definite for Saturday? Need to know.. :)

No, you won't get scratched up, there's some tight trails, but we don't have to go down them. You will get dirty, there's some mud puddles to cross (nothing deep, just a couple inches of water, you can blast through if you really wanted too)... There are a couple deep mud holes, but that's the personal call of the truck owner.. not me, thank you. :)

You will definitely be able to find a place to flex your suspension if you want.. stock or not. :)

if this is happening Saturday... I may... may be able to go. Have to know soon though.

    Oh, haha, I see...

Well, my friend and I are going to stick with Wharton. He's afraid of what the tow bill would be if he breaks something in his truck.

Nothing to break.. most of the trails are tame. Like I said, if you stay out of the mud pits (there's only 2 that I know of, and one is somewhat deep.. I tried it, made it through but it smoked my alternator about 1 1/2 weeks later, thanks to the water/mud in it) you'll be fine. It's mostly trails for stock vehicles and bicycle riders, nothing like running Rausch Creek black trails. :) There's a couple washed out areas, but they can be crossed with stock trucks easily.

Come on up, you'll have fun and no tow needed so long as he doesn't try taking on a tree head to head. :D

I think he also doesn't trust his truck that much, for a 2+ hour drive. He's only had it a couple of weeks, and its an 18 year old truck. If something comes up last minute, I'll be there to join you guys.
