I was given the choice of a Highlander or Rav4. Last time they loaned me a car I got the Highlander and my wife has been looking at Rav4's so I figured I'd try that this time. Really nice but I gotta say the MPG's suck on it. Me in the Rav4 and you in the Camry, we'll take them all out on the trails.lol

LOL. I don't know. My wife has a 2007 Camry and the way she drives it I swear she could be Ivan Stewart.lol

Just got a call from James Toyota. Truck is ready for pickup. They said they couldn't find anything wrong. Said they test drove it pretty hard and came back and looked it all over and couldn't find anything. I guess we'll see what the next couple years bring. It's a shame, they're putting it through their car wash today before I get it. It'll be nice and dirty again tomorrow.

That brings up another thought. Do the reg cab 4x4's have tow hooks on them? I know my '99 TRD did but I never climbed under this one. I guess the solution to this is just don't get stuck.

I'll be at the Quick Chek at 1 PM unless I see anything further on the posting board. Will need at least an hour notice if anything changes tomorrow last minute. My friend will also be coming along with his Wrangler. My wife and his fiance will be there as well. I'm sure we'll be down for whatever after. Either going out for some food or hanging at a house.

I will be trying to come... apparently some people have plans for my truck that they failed to inform me about and still haven't. Like I don't see the fucking patio furniture piled in the bed?

That sucks. If I had a dollar for every time a family member did that to me, I'd be retired (and I'm only 29). That's when you get creative like I did. Buy a stick shift. The only other person I know that can drive stick is my father and he's a long distance truck driver so he's never a problem.

My mother and my uncle know how to drive stick.. and it's probably going to be one of them thinking they're driving it tomorrow. Maybe I'll drop the stuff off then just leave.. :D

LOL, don't worry I'm sitting here thinking the same thing. Last time I was offroading was in 2002 in my '99 Tacoma. It's been a while. I understand this place is pretty tame and it seems like we have the full variety of experiences going tomorrow. Should be a great time. Looking forward to meeting everyone.
