Haha if they stand up to the kick test they must be strong. They are like half price I seen compared to others. I need to get a set.

The guy started a link in northeast titled Long Island I think. I then went to the website and priced em out....... still have to test the quality. But with the weld on sliders it like hours of work since you have to weld them together then weld them onto the truck. And I am a good welder I just take my time when it comes to the truck bc everythings gotta be perfect.

i prefer bolt on, not welded to truck, because i wanna be able to go to stock in case i ever get rid of truck, and i dont plan to do any serious offroading that bolt on wont handle, i mean, its a manual, and the supercharger is not necessarily needed for off roading...

Well the weld ons are way more expensive and the bolt ons are still removable. Just a little cutting, and it wont effect the frame. Just have to be careful.

I got shrockworks bolt ons and they are strong. Im not worried about anything with them. They were alittle pricey but I only had to drill 3 holes per side.

yeah, i am confident with bolt ons, now, we need to get the shrockworks bolt ons to a shop, disect them, ( analyze carefully with measurements, and build copies for 1/87 the price....;)

^ nice pics. I've also been on the lookout for some bolton sliders. I'd also be down for a mod day, i could think of something to do to the truck, but if not i can always help out. I think someone had mentioned 2 weekends or so after the superbowl??

We should also organize a trip down to wharton or somewhere in a month or two.
