Finally got the clutch replaced. Autoland sucks. Took it to them three times and it was very clear they didn't want to be bothered. Went to Crystal in Greenbrook and they took care of it. They replaced the blower motor too. It started to sound like the roulette table at the casino. The clutch feels better now. Stalled it once leaving the dealer. Kinda wish I got the auto though. Thought I would get used to it by now but I just don't like the feel of this manual . Seems like you have to put some thought into it in order to get a smooth shift in second and third. Live and learn I guess but I still love the truck. Got some temp work for tax season. I hope to pay a few bills and save up for some tires and Billsteins, new wiper stalk too. Sucks not having intermitten.

Glad to here you finally got it taken care of. I had to go to Crystal when my radiator hose fell off (300 miles after I got the truck). Their service dept was great. I hated trying to deal with their sales dept though. I finally had to get up and walk out of the showroom. Knock-on-wood my clutch has been fine ever since. I may look into a short throw shifter. Not sure if they make them for the 4 banger though. I don't see them on URD's website. I think eliminating some of that shift lag would help.

I can't believe nobody else is in on this. I think it's a great idea. If I didn't already have a commitment for that evening I'd stay all day talking and having some wings and beer.
