thats what i was thinkikng...i def wont do the job in one day, so renting it is not an option, will cost tooo much. and i have to do the trim around the door, and i took the trim off the window in the living room so it will match. also, gonna put the crown moulding up, and i cant do jus tthe living room, because of the open floor plan, the living dining room, entry way stairs, hallway, etc are all technically one ceiling with one line, so if i crown any part of it, it all needs it...but i was thinking youget a wharton run togther soon, which i will make it too, and if you can do it on a sunday, i can come sat after work. crash and come home sunday

Glad we have a date set for Beech Creek!
Looking forward to RC this weekend and then FJ northeasters in 2 weeks.

Got my Hi Lift today and mounted it on the back of my tool box. (its a 60" so I had to trim aprox. 1 1/2" off the end)

what if you found a way to put the high lift across the bed inthe cubby holes...then you can get away not cutting it, right? just a thought.

Yea where I cut it there was actually a part where the holes were twice the distance apart. 0 0 0 0 0 like that, so it made for a really clean cut, and the best part is, my black sand pearl touch up paint was almost the exact same color as the hi lift.

    And Thanks!

it had to be one of 2 firestones....
either the one in tenn..... or the d.b. in westbury l.i.
no one said anything...."the guy at the firestone in LI " told me the adjuster was frozen .....he never said the tab was bent.......
so yyesterday i go under there to check out the front end before the rausch creek meet and i find this.....
im gona bend it back and have my friend tack it with a bead of weld.....
but i want to see if the adjuster is frozen or not.....
do you see any problems wheeling like this this weekend?????

A frozen cam will bend that tab as you drive. The alignment cams will rotate as the suspension cycles and will eventually flatten the tabs meant to hold them in place.

Happened to me too, but I went a little overboard with the fix so it can't happen again.

    Before:

Remember that if it bent in the front, it's likely also bent in the back as well. I had a total of 8 of these 3/8" cold-rolled steel plates fabricated and welded in place to keep everything where it needs to be.

Fortunately it's kept me from ripping the LCA mounts from the frame a few times. :)
