if teh weather stays warm this weeek, stokes could be a def, people wear out the trail and teh warmth will lower inches of snow, this weekend could be a doable one up here

even those walkie talkies, the 2 ways, that have like "5 mile range" like $40 a pair, get a few of those and we can all use them like cb's. short term solution

This sunday is the St. Patty's day parade in Belmar which is a huge deal down there about 10 mins north or Pt. Pleasant. Its a lot of fun, i'm going to be going. My gf lives in the next town over, which makes it easy to get home lol.

I'm going to order my cb this week. The cobra 75wxst and a 3' ngp firestick. I think i'm going to mount the cb box under the center console and have the mic/controls rest inside the console.

There is a guy up by me who will give you a great deal on a good cb, and tune the antenna and probably even boost it up for you. When I said that I would get a bunch aof cheapie cb's I meant a hand held GE CB, I can get them for about $1.00. That way we can have them while we wheel. I was thinking of getting maybe 10 obviously thats enough so if anyone wanted to keep them..... it wouldnt be a big deal. If you are interested on finding out more about the it is a GE handheld CB. I am getting a Uniden PC78 I just dont know which submodelt with a 4' firestik mounted on that light bar w8n4mud is groupbuying. Ijust dont know when....

i wish we could figure out a plan for these the sliders., i am def not able to pay full cost of retail sliders, and between us, we have the ability and resources to put this together, i think we can get something together, not to be rich, btu to get a quality product at least for us nj people, and if shipping out to others seems worth it, then that is up to those who havae the machicnes...how does sunday sound for meetin up, even if its just a bs lunch, bbq whatever, we can go to stokes, the weather is def warm enough that i think a trip there would not be worthless.

As of right now I just have to talk to the wife bc we planned on going down to point pleasant sunday. Those cb's would be perfect for offroading excursions. They dont have much range and that is why I was going to buy like 10 of them. That way if we ever went anywhere I could just hand them out and not worry about getting them back. They have a couple mile range. Most places like RC actually require cb usage so we have that covered. Just an idea to save money. The cb set up I am looking at is $140.00 and thats the cb, antenna, a specifc mount designed for quick release, tuned the antenna, boosted a little bit. So this is a cheap way to get the cb included with our offroading.
