It sucks not having flash. I might upgrade to a tablet after Christmas and give iPad to my daughter

How did you south jersey guys make out?my buddy is in forked river on water but. It didn't reach his house yet. He is waiting for the tide to rise this morning

Power just came back on... my sump hole was topped out, so that thing has been running quite a bit now. Basement didn't flood.

I ended up using my computer UPS to power the sump for an hour or so, that might have saved the basement.

That or he has UPS's hooked up to his computer and modem. I have one UPS that powers my router and cable modem, and another big one for my computer.

Probably gives me about 20 minutes of computer time without power.

It wasn't bad at all as far as wind really... but the flood was terrible. Probably still is.

Basement is slowly draining.... had 4" of water & the battery backup failed overnight when the power went out.
I hooked up with one of my customers early this morning that is a professional water-proffer & got a killer new backup system. (cost $550)
Soaking wet & covered in basement funk I had is 85% installed....

.....and the power came back on.
