    I work as Operation Mgr for a Construction Co in the City. We have something like 15 pick up trucks. All 3/4 ton , 5 Ford's, 3-4 GMC, Dodge's and 2 Tundra's ( the first generation with the 3.4 liter engine. I went in the yard and asked the foreman to see the log and maintenance book of each truck. Out of all the trucks, the Tundra's are the only one that did not see the shop for major repairs before 100k's mark.
    Yes the Ford looks better equipped and some are stronger, the GMC are a little bit nicer inside,, but at the end of the day the log book spoke for each other. In this category ,, they are all big enough for my needs and all I wanted is -reliability.
    Time will tell if I made the right decision.

    I think the ballast for my driver side headlight is going bad.. it's been working intermittently.

    Got pulled over on the way home from work tonight, so I pulled over, turned off the truck, opened the windows and waited. He asked me to turn on my headlights... and the ballast worked!!

    He was like "Ok nevermind.. I thought you had a headlight out" !!

    they are slim cubby's.
    the passenger side bulb went a month ago or so, so I took apart all the connections and put dielectric grease in them. I'll have to listen again, but I'm pretty sure you dont hear the ballast heating up if you turn them on.
