I was wondering if his worked on both. Seemed like he was designing it for 2nd gens but I know he has a 1st gen. The boztec one seems like it's 2nd gen only due to how it clamps around the driveshaft input. Unless the design is the same between 1st and 2nd gen? :notsure:

I thought it was a combo of that and 2nd gen owners being pansies :poking: :spy:

The 3rd time I brought mine in for it they supposedly brought in an expert who decided there was evidence "from an outside influence" meaning it was from something I had done. He then saw the rear diff breather extension and snorkel and decided i had submerged it.

Well when have you ever heard of any 1st or 2nd gen bashing in their rear to the point they were disabled?

I only know of one person to ever bash one open and he is a vendor with a mean 2nd gen that was going over an extreme trail.

IMO for what I drive primarily they are kinda useless and would only cause me to bottom out more and get stuck quicker.

I'm more worried about the drain plug. The collar around mine has plenty of scrapes on it and there was some sticks and mud jammed in there after a wheeling trip one time.

Yea after talking to Kevin and he explained all the work he had to do on the trail to repair it, I'll gladly pay whatever price to prevent that from happening. And it's not driving forwardthat worries me.. It's that time that I'm fucking around and can't go any farther and back up 6 inches and crush in the cover.

Weld a ring around it and youll be fine.

Yup. I wasn't going to call him out but he is the only guy I know who has dented one.

If I had extra cash I would grab one, but in 3 years I haven't needed it so for me I'm just saying it's a waste. No rocks to back into at the mall :D

He did mine in a couple of hours including an alignment. Just make sure you get there early so you don't have to wait in line.
