Dark tranny fluid is usually a sign of it being near its.. useful end. :D At least for automatics, bright red is a very nice color to see. :)
Did my rear diff this weekend, need to get more gear oil to do the front and t-case, then I'll tackle the transmission.

Oh, and I'm up for a Stokes run.. just lemme know when so I can make sure I'll be around. :)

Yepper. I actually haven't had much time to work on the truck recently. Still need to swap out the CV boots on the passenger side, replace the spindle, gusset the coil buckets, re-install the UCAs after the heims joints are installed, replace 2 leafs in the driver's side pack, and get the thing aligned.

About an afternoon's worth of work.

Someone mentioned Stokes a page or so ago... any confirmed plans? Might have a friend who would go too, he'd be outnumbered.. Chevy 2500 HD.. :) But the tires he put on it sling mud like a mother.. I know, I caught some in the face when I had the window down and we were looking for a fishing spot over by the wallkill. He wasn't even trying, tires just dig.. :D

I just order my skids from budbuilt today so i dont have to worry about braking to much. The other company i order them from srewed me. They told me today that they were on backorder for 2-3 weeks. I ordered and paided for them last week. What a pain in my ass. Budbuilt is much better to deal with. i talked to them at about 2 and got a tracking number by 5. I should have them fribay.
