Ouch! It's ok, that's why I'm in the market for another truck.

What's good everyone? Just stopping in to say hello. I recently bought a 2013 TRD Sport Pyrite Mica Access Cab. First Toyota and never looking back!

Nicky, I saw you're in my area. I live on Absecon Island. I'll throw you a wave if I see ya around!

CB drop worked perfect.... No vibes, up to 75mph on the speedo, never took it faster than that nor do I plan to.

    Thanks for that!

How'd the 6 pack work out for you? Vibes everywhere?

So I've decided on the DIY method for the Toytec 3" lift/AAL and UCA's, in my garage. I've also recruited/bribed the assistance a friend who is a mechanic who has all the tools necessary, but he has never done a lift kit. Any advice form the group for the install or preparation? Is there anything I should be especially aware / concerned with? Again, thanks for all the responses. Can't wait to get started.

    The beer was good.:)

Some jack stands, torque wrench, some cold beer and if you bought the set u p like mine with the Eibach springs and the 5100s you going to have to find a friend with a spring compressor or remove you're stock springs and rake them to a shop to have the top plates swapped out.

I forgot to add if you are doing the add a leaf in the rear you are going to need some C-clamps.

Yea look in the suspension section of the forum and read the DIY add a leaf and DIY shock removal.. It's not hard to do but it's nice to know what you're looking at. But definitely use pb blaster ahead of time..

Awesome, Got it. I'll search for the service manual tonight. Hopefully the lift is here tomorrow. I missed the Fed Ex guy on Saturday by 30 minutes. Sooooo pissed it needed a signature and it figures today is a holiday...
Jrzy, I didnt want to deal with a spring compressor or assembly, the kit I ordered was the one that's assembled and pre set for 3". Should all be remove and replace. Will be interesting.
