This, pay with cc for all purchases and pay in full at end of month, the points add up :)

I am also in the refi process to a 15 year, time is good for that now

Yep, I do the same thing! I just found out that chase freedom can be linked to my Amazon account and you can use your points towards purchases.

Anyone ever go to Shore Toyota in Egg Harbor Twp for service? I want to eventually get a lift, but would like to get it under warranty. I called them, but the one guy in parts couldn't give me a def. answer and the manager was out.

Til then here's how my truck sits until I can add a lift, bigger tires, black wheels, and maybe a supercharger down the road. Will have to plastidip the wheels for now.

Yeah, my warranty experience has shwn that unless said mod is directly related to damaged part, they can't void warranty. Meaning, u put lift, and alternator goes, unless they prove ur lift killed alternator, they will honor warranty.

Ant def knows lifts, and add another to that list, tires shipped today, lift should ship in day or two :D. My time has finally come :D

Thanks, I'm digging how the retro kit turned out as well!

Where are you located? I may just have to take you up on that offer one day.

Nice, I know Williamstown well. Got two of my largest large mouth bass in one of my secret spots there ;). My GF lives in Pittsgrove and has a nice driveway with 3 car garage. Maybe that could be a staging point.

But yeah, a meet/mod day would be rad. I'm a dum dum even with the fog light anytime mod so I could use a hand with some stuff.

Don't do it, they are tricking you! Discover does the same thing. If you pay with points you aren't earning points on the purchase. Make the purchase normally, earn points, use points to pay down your balance.

Nice truck. I bought my truck from Shore Toyota and have had some service work done there too. The trucks they sell there are mostly dealer installed spacer lifts and I think the guy in parts puts most of them together. I do buy parts from him from time to time and be seem like a good guy and is alway helpful. As of you're warranty, mine just ran out and I have had my lift on my truck for almost 2 years that I installed myself. The few times I been there they have never given me an issue about covering anything with the lift on the truck. Now if it were suspension related that might be a different story.:)

not sure what ya mean here.

for example if you earn "points" with discover, its actually cash. 20 points = $20 cash. you can apply to balance, or have deposited in personal account, or used to make online purchases.

When you make a purchase with your points you are not earning points on that purchase.
    Example 1:
Spend $100 on Amazon with credit card
    Earn 1% cash back = $1
Deduct $1 cash back bonus from account balance
    Total cost $99

    Example 2:
Spend $100 on Amazon using cash back bonus
    Earn 0 cash back bonus
    Total cost $100

ah, i see your point now. i agree that rewards should only be used in cash form, not direct toward purchase. but in small amounts, reward is low. we put about 1000-1500 a month on the card for gas, food, or whatever comes up. some months a few thousand. depends on month. but i only like cards with cash reward and no monthly fee. amex is only card i use with fee. has good perks if you travel. but my discover has turned out to be my best used card. 15 years customer(im 33) and if i ever had to dispute anyting was always handled. they also gave me awesome rate. my citi card is 8.9% which is ok. but my discover is 3.9% so hard to leave them. plus having credit makes for better credit :) credit is good to have not live off of. so i would recomend that you mr boyd, get a card or 2 back and have and be responsible enough to not let it control you :D
