    If I see a dealer lot Trd offroad I will measure with a picture, and then with this as it sits today . I have a tire no one has seen before as its only been available for 3 weeks approx, maybe I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure my measuring skills are on point, I do it every day

    If its from Toytec, it will be on time, they ship immediately. Mine said Wednesday but came Tuesday . Expect it sat :) if u miss delivery cause it comes Friday, call and ask to pick up at FedEx location

    why don't people like the drop lift kits???

    has there been issues or is it the fact it is non reversible??

    i saw a 2011 or 2012 tacoma at the local shop yesterday when i ordered my rims for my landcruiser..

    had a 3" ready lift with 285 tires.. looked good.. i asked about alignment issues with the guy and he said there were none...
    he said they do like 1 a week and have never had an issue with any of them..
    i have dealt with this guy for many years..
    kit is like $700 installed...

    i am really leaning towards the BDS kit... 6"

    The problem with a 6" lift is there isn't much function other then it looks cool. The lift requires a drop bracket for you're front diff to keep the cv angles almost stock and with the drop bracket you don't gain much ground clearence because the bracket is at stock level. There are also stability issues. Another thing is a lot of people on this site wheel their trucks and with the 3" lift you gain more clearance. One of the keys when wheeling a truck is you want to keep you're center of gravity as low as possible to gain stability. But if you have youre heart set on a 6" lift it's you're truck so do what make you happy. I do think the 6" lift looks good but it doesn't work for me.:)
