Anyone miss those number cards? I sometimes think about bringing them back .

 

I think the card numbers are cool.

 

I was thinking the same thing.

 

I like em. I think it gives the patch a little more value, by showing it was made in a limited qty. But I also understand that it adds costs & time.



Edit: But you always throw in extra stickers with just about every order (or maybe every order it seems)

 

I do! I tend to throw extras in there any chance I get lol. I like to think it makes a supporter smile, I mean who doesn't like extras? Lol. It means a lot to me when someone purchases our art, so i figured people would get more out of a couple extras rather than a number card. But I do agree with the value point.

I was just curious what everyone thought. I might start it up again, we'll see. I appreciate the input!

oh taking me back to my 90's and early 00's, toy machine and hook-ups oh man if my son ever gets into skateboarding, that kid would have a kicker and a small box built in a weekend! though my 8yo daughter was digging around in the back of my shop and found my "last" deck Santa Cruz independent trucks, some pig wheels and some china bones bearings. and was cruising around in my shop on the concrete, made me smile.

 

Right on! This is exactly what I was hoping to reach with this patch. If you skated in the 90s or early 00s, this patch should spark some kind of nostalgia. I tried to make it as throw back as possible for this very reason. I'm stoked it pulled on your good memory strings.

That's awesome you held on to everything and I bet those REDS didn't need a splash of WD40 lol. I hope your son gets the itch but it sounds like your daughter is the chosen one.

I miss growing up in the 90s, so much freedom and open space. Anyways, thanks for sharing dude!

 

wd40... peasant oil. I was a Lucas oil kid, my dad worked for auto shops or in parts stores so I always had access to like the really good quality air gun lube. but yes 100% gave those bearing a spin, and cracked that deck edge on the floor quick little wink, and a small ollie. said here you go kid, don't tell momma, have some fun. both kids are dare devils, but my 2nd is slightly more cautious.
