    I feel ya! I've owned a '93 22re, a '03 1st gen and my favorite so far is my current '09 2nd gen. Can't beat it IMO.

    That's okay, someone posted a pic of my truck (a 3rd gen) in the 1st gen forum, asking if anyone knew where to get a bumper like I had. My truck got called ugly and a mall crawler..lol.

    I actually have nothing against either lol....I wish I had the strength of a first gen withe the aftermarket availability of a third gen. I will drive mine till it dies then most likely get a 4th gen

    You detail and polish those D rings shackles too? I think one tell tale sign of a mall crawler is someone that keeps them hanging on their bumper 24/7, and have never seen a single use...but hey, TETO. Truck looks clean! I'd let you give me a tug...

    I just had a local buddy just had that happen.....2012 dclb head gasket blew. $5000 to fix or $12000 for a rebuilt (like new because you can't buy a new 4.0 now) motor. He is currently riding his motorcycle to work to debate the decision.

    Funny you say that about the shackles. I used to keep them behind the seat with the recovery gear until I was up in PA and had to get them to pull myself out of a stupid judgement call I made. Due to the incline the truck was on, I slid down about a 40 foot wall of mud. I put them on the bumper ever since.
