Did you guys know that New Mexico has it's own "Top of the World" trail? The view at the end is just like the one in Utah, although the trail is a little less challenging.

    Sweet campsite along the way...

    Cool rock features...

A very challenging trail for stock vehicles... must have 4x4 though.

Ever seen the guadalupe box from this angle? That cut is where the gilman tunnels are located on FR 376.

Also, I scouted another trail in southern CO that goes through a lot of scenic alpine country, with plenty of views of the C&T train. Some challenging sections and spur roads to explore. In the snow, this one's a blast.

I love looking at your pictures, and it looks like your state has a ton of adventuring possible! I was hoping to make it this summer, but not sure it's going to happen. I'm still crossing my fingers though!

The only dirt my truck has on it right now is from a Rio Puerto run a couple weeks ago... I need some action! Especially after I get my budbuilt skids next month.

I'm glad you enjoyed them, and feel free to drop me a line when you finally make it down. There is definitely a lot to see/do in NM.

Let's get something going, then. I've got a new ARB front locker that needs to see some testing as well.

In the good old Jemez mountains. I'd be glad to take you guys up there and show you around.

Watt maker (gm350ratliff on t4r.org, right?), do you work at PEGS? I've noticed you mention your work on several occasions and I'm in the same industry.

We have an awesome 4 bedroom house in Ouray for the last night of the FJ Summit for the next 4 days. July 18-22nd. Price is dirt cheap! $250 total! We will be wheeling all over the area, and just think of all the pictures you will get!

I work for PNM, doing shift work as well, so I know how hard it can be to schedule things. I'll make a post in here if I can get something set up in August with prior notice.

Thanks, Nate. I got home from a week in Ouray and surrounding areas on the day you guys arrived, so we just missed each other. I'll definitely be at the Jamboree, so we'll catch up then.

Good to hear, man. Now that you posted the picture of your rig, I remember seeing it in Ouray when we were passing through one night.

Looks like good times and breath taking views.

I've been out wheeling of a different sort. 2 wheel, pedaled kind. I'd be up for a trail run, been hankering to explore Glorieta Mesa but open to most anything.

We'll I'm glad to hear that you've been getting out, at least.

We ran Goose Lake up by Red River yesterday... it's a fun trail. I'll post some pics later.
