No 4wd indicator light

I have a 99 taco 3.4 5 speed non add truck. Manual locking hubs with gear shift 4wheel drive . I have changed my my transfer switch on the passenger side of the transfer case. With a dorman part number 600 554 switch. I have power to through the fuse box to the switch. Not only do I not have an indicator light my drive shaft does not spin in 4hi or 4lo . The transfer case shifts fine from hi to lo but the front axle never spins can someone please help me out or has anyone had this issue before?
