No access cabs available in SoCal?

I'm in the same boat here in the midwest. Per Car Gurus there are only two available within 150 miles at the moment and none locally. I don't mind traveling for the right deal/vehicle, but I'm also not in a hurry so I'll be waiting to in hopes I can get exactly what I'm looking for.

Access Cab TRD Pro* in Army Green $18k

 

There are obviously fewer AC's, but what the likely problem you're facing is the color you want. It's pretty rare - far more so than AC's (which are common).

It's odd you can't get a dealer swap, though. That's how I got mine. Mine was originally slated to go to the mid west.

 

I'm having that problem as well. I'm looking for an access cab SR V6 4x4 in white without the SX package. Seems like they dont do this config in Northern California.

 

The seller mentions something about a 4th Gen Tacoma...?

 

And I missed the Access Cab part!

 

He and I apparently have very different definitions of what a factory made truck would look like

 

I had to fly from Oklahoma to Washington State to get the Access Cab configuration I wanted...Be prepared to travel...like others have said.

 

Wow that seems like a lot of time and money to put into a truck to lose 1/4 of a cab... and slightly shorter wheelbase...

 

Took me forever to find my AC OR 4x4 here in San Diego. I ended up finding mine used, but they were getting sold faster than I could get to the dealerships. No one had them new. It’s like a unicorn out here for some reason. Even Carvava was selling them quick, none were ever available.

 

And a truck with a salvage title...

I did Uber Eats on the side to make some extra money last year, and as stupid as it the same rules that apply to driving other people around also apply to delivering food, which unfortunately includes prohibiting the use of rebuilt/salvage title vehicles by Uber drivers! I don't know if DoorDash is the same way.

 

Try Toyota of Poway. That's where we got our truck for an ok deal brand new (2018, SR5, 4x4, DBLC, auto) 33k before tax. They have a big inventory + overflow lot full of tacos just up the hill.

What is the SX package? Is that like the "STX" package on base model Ford trucks?

 

Good looking out, but that one has the SX package. What I'm looking for is out there, it's just rare and not in my region, or anywhere close to California it seems.

The SX package is black alloys, mirror caps, door handles, headlights, and fender flares.

 

Intermittent wipers?

 

I believe all 2020 SR models have intermittent wipers now.
