    It’s about damn time!

Now, will there be 4-wheel disc brakes for 2021?

Just spiral outwards and call dealers until one bites. So far you’ve found ones that think you aren’t worth their time and instead want an easy rav4 sale to someone who doesn’t have a specific vehicle in mind. Less work and quicker. You want a specific vehicle, they can do that. They’re just choosing not to. Might have a hefty drive to get there but you’ll get one eventually.

Maybe it's different for the OR models? When told there were no 2019 SR5 AC V-6 4x4s in white, without any "extras" available anywhere, I simply had them request a change order for their allotted shipments, which was approved right away, and the truck was delivered three months later. Did the same thing for our 2020.

It's a local thing. The market here is extremely biased towards automatic DCSBs. Socal buyers are boring apparently (myself included!).

When I drove up to Carson City last year, the dealer there had tons of unique configurations and colors to choose from... access cabs, long beds, Blues, reds, greens and even a decent selection of MTs.

I found that the only reliable way to check dealer stock is to look at each individual dealership website. The truck I wanted wasn’t listed on Toyota, car gurus, auto trader but showed up on the dealership site. I think it might’ve just come in as it had 0 miles on it and was built within 4 weeks of me buying it. I will never trust car gurus etc. ever again, not only is their stock inaccurate the pricing was fraudulent on the first 7 trucks I went to buy. I even had one confirmed in an email and over the phone. I arrived and they tacked on a $1098 handling fee because “ their price is so low” and “every dealer adds something “. Some Toyota dealers behave like Chevy/Ford/Chrysler dealers now.
