i was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem.

    2016 trd 4x4 or MGM
A woman hit me last Friday doing about 50mph. Straight into my drivers side door. I was not moving. I was knocked out by the pillar where my seatbelt is. Concussion and beat up my shoulder and hip.

    No airbags were deployed. Why?

ouch... 50 you're luck to be posting here....sorry for your loss. First report of airbags not working. We've seen on many many other incidents where they did deploy all of them.

hmm, did you ask the collision center? I was hit in the passenger front corner just over a month ago and no air bag. But the dukes of tacoma video showed the airbags deploy and have seen photos of other wrecks that had the bags deployed.

It's going to the shop tomorrow. I'll see what they say about it. I just feel like in this case the airbags should have deployed. I feel like I was just standing in the middle of the street and got hit by a car.

    From the manual:

    upload_2017-3-7_15-8-18.jpg

    upload_2017-3-7_15-9-36.jpg

It looks like you were hit from "collision from side at an angle"

I'm a career firefighter/paramedic. I've seen airbags deploy when they shouldn't have and seen airbags not deploy when you think they should've. Where you got hit... the rocker panel has no sensors or anything in it. That could be the culprit.

Thank God you're okay! Somebody had an angel riding shotgun.

No health insurance man. They aren't doing much for me. All my symptoms are getting better other than the nonstop headache.

Sorry about your luck OP. I hope this gets resolved for you and you get taken care of. I must ask, how do you have money for a modded TRD Off Road, a place with a garage, but not have health insurance? Inquiring minds want to know.

Sorry to hear about your truck, glad you didn't get hurt worse then you did. The hospital can't turn you away and the other persons insurance should be paying for your medical bills.

True but normally your insurance covers it initially. Since he has no insurance that means he's on the hook until insurance decides to pay.

    It's not my house.
I put every Dollar I had into my truck. I know it's Totally irresponsible and way out of my pay grade.
to be honest I never put much thought into health care but I will be looking into it for sure.

Your truck insurance should have some medical coverage...you should of went to ER right after accident IMHO. You need to lawyer up pronto. (that is not something I normally say as I despise lawyers) And go get checked out ASAP! You could have serious stuff going on.

Your car insurance or the persons car insurance should cover your medical. imo, you have a concussion along with your other injuries.
