Got the rear spring TSB done and put on a set of Bilsteins 5100's set at 1.75 to level the front. Everything I read here stressed a front end alignment is needed. Took it to the shop and they said it was perfect, no alignment needed. Very reputable shop I have used for years and they didn't charge me for putting it on the rack. Can this be right, or should I consider taking it to another shop for a second opinion?

Rear Suspension TSB, Bilstein 5100 on all 4 corners-fronts set at 1.75". BFG A/T's @ 265/75/16; Access LE Roll-up cover; Iron Cross Tube SS Steps; Fumoto valve; WeatherTech Liners; AFE Pro-Dry; front side windows tinted 20%; TW Decal!
Was the alignment done at dealer as part of the TSB? If so, perhaps the 1.75" wasn't enough to take it out of spec. When I had the TSB done, I supplied the dealer with the 5100's and had them set at 1.75", I know they performed the TSB required alignment but I'm not sure how far out of spec it was, if at all...

So they installed 5100's on the front for you? I have been considering the 5100's and TSB so I was thinking maybe I could install the 5100's on the front just before taking it in for the rear leaf TSB so I wouldn't have to pay for an alignment. But I didn't figure they'd go for it.

Sorry-wasn't real clear in my first post. Dealer did the spring TSB and alignment. A week later I installed the Bilsteins in the front @ 1.75 and took it in to have the front end aligned. Shop said it was all good, didn't need an alignment. No reason not to believe them, but almost everything I have read on TW stressed getting a front alignment after Billy install.

Get the printout of the alignment if you are worried about it.

It may well be in spec with no worries. Gotta get it checked-Doesn't mean it'll need to be changed.
