I have thought about de-badging the tailgate and putting the retro Toyota letters decals on more than once. What stops me is serious doubts that I could ever get them on there exactly straight and level (and centered) across the width of the tailgate.

Kind of a one-shot deal, and if it was off even slightly it would drive me crazy and off they would go :annoyed: :sawzall:

    First thing ^^

Then paint the steelies and put 235-75's on it.

    Tint windows.

    Pinstripes.

As funds allow paint bumpers body color.

    Maintain, drive & enjoy.

Single cab trucks can go basically anywhere unhindered. I used to have a grey single-cab F150 that I could park almost anywhere because it just looked like someone’s work truck.

    Best advice possible.

every time I think a bout ‘look at me’ mods, I recall seeing the broke guy with the amazing looking mall crawler. He still has no girlfriend.

Heres what I would do if it was my truck. Paint match bumpers and grill shell, oem fog lights, black housing headlight housings, djm 3/4 drop, nice fitting set of wheels and tires, tonneau cover (either soft roll up if you use your bed a lot or a hard cover paint matched if you dont), maybe some tint and stereo upgrades and thats about it.
No sense in doing performance mods on a 4cyl auto. If it was a 5 speed and money was no object, I may add a urd supercharger and supporting mods and make it more fun to drive

What about the guys with trucks they’ve built who go to really cool places, do really cool things, and have experiences and memories that matter to them…do they get girlfriends?

Yep, some of us even get wives. My truck looks better than stock only because of the things I’ve added to be able to go cool places. Everything I’ve added was due to trying first without it.

Interest earning account? What are you 75? Did you vote for Reagan?

Agree to just keep this specific specimen in stock for but we gotta get away from trying to give money-related on posts when that’s not the main question from OP.

Never been married. But two girls are currently fighting over me. Probably because I don't have a squatted truck, just a small tasteful lift.

Mine too, making my truck capable is what’s fun for me, but I see no reason to hate on guys who are having fun making their trucks look like they want…some people like to go get their trucks dirty and tear shit up, others like sparkly paint and having to avoid speed bumps, to each their own.
