    ^This.

I love my MTZs. Got a good 1½" of snow today, thick fluffy stuff that make some really good slush.

I was ripping around on the highway and down the streets no issues.

If the shit ain't broke don't fix it.

I've ran them bald that's why I'm looking for new ones. Just thought I'd see what else was out there.

I can't see you getting better mileage from the Duratracs. They've got a softer composition than the MTZs so you're going to be replacing them sooner. So even if they do give you more mileage, you're going to lose it in longevity.

glad someone started this thread. I am looking to get 265/75/16 for my '12... But not going to go the KM2 or MTR/K just yet until I go bigger.

I want a great A/T tire that will perform better OFFROAD then the stock TRD off road tires, but also be good on snow, which is why I am not getting the km2's yet.

been looking at the ATZ, toyos, nittos..... IDK I am pulling my hair out!

I have around 45k-50k on my ATZ's. I cant say enough great things about them. I'll be getting a new set in 10k or so. They wear perfect, and get great traction on and off road. They are tough as well, I havent been easy on the sidewalls as my last truck (which put most of the miles on the tires) was a DCLB and I tended to bang into stuff when I turned in tight places on and off road.

I must say I am a little dissapointed in my ATZ's... I havent had any other tires, although on the highway while driving in the rain it felt as if were about to hydroplane. happened again when i hit a small puddle on the right side of the road. really weird. other than that its a great tire offroad!

Tough choice both are from highly rated companies. Although i personally think the duratrac's are the ugliest tire our there. They have stellar reviews.

I have close to 55-60k on my MTZ's still have some tread but not much. So your ATZ's have done well off road and how much mud did they see?

I vote Duratrac's, I'm looking at those for my next tire.

See the problem I'm having is that I love Mickey Thomoson and the rep they have. The reason I put the duratracs up there is because they have gotten great reviews so I'm stuck on what to get.

    how the tread
I looked at Duratrac's yesterday they had this tire/tread on the floor I was told on back order month or so $250 a tire. I guess two types. They reminded me of my old bfg drag radials how the tread changes.[IMG]

I love the KM2s I've had, but I'm going with something different this time for the 'learning experience'. :D

Yeah, I've never been disappointed by them.

They've seen enough mud and mud/clay to evaluated. The two times I've been stuck with them it was because I was on my frame. I have more pics and videos in my build thread.

I have the m/t baja atz 285/70/17 right now, put about 8k miles on em in less than a year. They don't do that good in rain, but i live in phoenix arizona.

Let me tell you there were time when the tires should have popped but it didn't.
I hit a curb going 50 once. thought for sure my tire was done, but it was all good.

I go 4 wheelin it does great on rocks and sand, it does alright in the mud. I havent taken it in the snow yet.

It does seem like they hydroplane easily, but i would buy em again because it only rains 20 days out of the year here.

Wow, one of the reasons I like mine so much is because they perform well in the rain.
