no courtesy lights

    Can someone tell me if there is a relay for the door/courtesy lights in my 03. The dome will work in "on" position but not in "door". All fuses are good.

    I don't know about a relay, but you might check out the headliner switch or the connection coming from the door switches.

    Thanks, I will look at those this weekend. Hope I didnt do any major damage. I was hooking up some aftermarket led's to the dome/courtesy light and grounded out the "door" wire. From what I understand the "on" and "door" switch both run off the same fuse. Just figured it had some sort of relay to have the courtesy lights stay on for a min. or so after you close the doors. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    It occurs to me that the timer is probably integrated into the BCM.... :der:
