no crank no start after engine install

    port and polish intake manifold, supercharger, pulley for charger, lifted, tires, deckplate, (doing full engine build)
    all my wires are hooked up that i can see.

    starter worked until i pulled my original engine. any ideas?

    dont think it could be a fluke that it went bad but you never know....

    This has happened to me before haha...you're sure there isn't apcm ground wire hanging loose? I'm assuming that the dash lights up and everything when you put the key to run right?

    yea they do. only idea i have is that i dont have radiator in.... would it not crank starter because of no coolant? radiator isnt hooked up....

    I seriously doubt it...you could always pull the starter and test it on the bench to see if it's any good

    Check for 12v at starter and power at signal wire on starter when ign at start, if you got both of those and starter grounded you got a bad starter, my dads starter was working fine before I did the 3.4L swap in his 92 Toyota, once the 3.4 went in started just took a dump

    No signal at solinoid wire. Replaced most of the wire. ECM not plugged all the way in? I want to get this bastard started today.

    I know this may sound silly, but did you check to make sure that the starter fuse and relay are good? Also, it may SEEM like it is perfect and tight, but a bad battery connection WILL allow the dash lights and such to come on, but wont let the starter engage. Remove battery terminals, clean both the terminals AND the cables, and reinstall. Just a few suggestions.

    ECM connector. Pulgged it in all the way and starter motor fired. So pissed at myself

    Huzzah! Glad you figured it out. Don't feel dumb- mine wouldn't start when I did my rebuild because we forgot a ground. xD
