Have you checked with your dealer. Mine was delivered with a no drill bracket. I know others have also. It is made specific for our trucks. It attaches with 3m body molding tape. I have looked the thing over and can't find a part number or manufacturers logo. image.jpg

Mine truck was given to me by the dealer with a no drill bracket as well, you should perhaps check w/ your dealer.

Though mine has dealer's name letter-ed in on the molding which I don't like. But compared to the alternative, I'd rather keep my dealer bracket. I'm thinking of removing the white paint of the letter's with some paint thinner before I install my license plates when they arrive.

Most of us has this and it's drilled into your bumper. If you remove the plate, you'll see the screws ginger into your bumper.

Not on mine. I have removed the screws. No holes. Held on by 6 pieces of double sided gorilla tape.

I was pretty adamant about not drilling anything anywhere and no damn dealer advertising stuck anywhere. There is actually a law here in MA that they can't do it if the customer says no.

I have to laugh when I see big GM, Ford and Dodge trucks with factory mud flaps that have a metal plate with the dealer's name riveted onto it. I'd insist those be removed and replaced with ones without the dealer advertising or pay me some big bucks for the advertising.

I spoke with @ACEkraut to see if he can make one for us 3rd Gen people that don't want to drill holes on our bumper. Here's what he made for a 2nd Gen. He said he'll look into it...

Thanks for starting a conversation Saul. For those looking for a 3rd Gen bracket I have designed and produced one. I still need to make a specific sale thread for it but it is available if anyone wants to contact me I will set you up with one.

You can buy plugs for the holes and if you did go with the bracket I make the plate will be in front of the holes so they would be much less noticeable.

I seen another thread like this. Some states are offering vinyl license plates now.

Buy some plastic plugs and paint them with touch-up paint. Still noticeable, but not as much and saves a CRAP load of money compared to the pre-painted ones. I'm into mine about $2.

I would think that dealers that do their business in states that require front and back plates should provide these brackets as a courtesy to their customers. Thanks for reminding me of this --I will ask the dealer I am buying from if they provide them.

When I bought my 2015 I asked that they please not drill any holes but it was a dealer trade and already drilled, gonna make sure I insist they don't drill into my 2017 and I will fab up my own set up.

No license plates on the front of a vehicle in Missouri will send an open invitation to any cop(that feels like it) to pull you over and (legally) ask you why no front plates on your car?
This is called "probable cause" to legally stop you. You can be ticketed for this -- Mostly warnings is my guess --but if you are doing anything else illegal your goose is cooked.
