I got the Skokies and never looked back. Quick and easy install and hood opens farther than stock prop. Price was right too.

Inquiring minds want to know...what size self tapping screws did you use instead of the rivets?

Questions if you have the SokieTechs will it still work with hood mounted Ditch lights?

Was just going to post about this. I got the Striker ones but yes, they probably will HOWEVER the wire bundle that comes out of the back of the ditch lights will be scrunched/pinched a tiny bit against the windshield if you let the hood open all the way. Perhaps if you mount the struts so the hood doesn't open at max angle that won't happen but I mounted mine for nearly maximum opening since I'm under the hood all the time modding (lol). When I have to drop off the truck for service at the dealer I simply disconnect the ditch light plugs so I don't have to worry about it.

Thanks! Along with that concern is with Sokietech it uses the hood mound bracket location as the install location for their struts. Is there enough room to “Sandwich all components together in one location?

I think they all use that hood mount with their own design of bracket. Depends on the curve and size of the light mounting bracket, but ostensibly one would imagine that the manufacturer at least tested their product before going to market...
