    ... Ouch!

Sorry to hear that. Get well soon!

Does this fit in/replace the blank, or go on the blank? The description says it replaces it, but the pic does not show how it installs.

Did a test mock up of mounting the mic with the keystone panel in the cubby but just don't think I could deal with it on the left side of the wheel and the mic cable hitting my knee all the time.

Just curious is it customary for you guys to not send a confirmation email or order tracking #? Cuz I got nothing....

Our system automatically send an order confirmation email (check your spam folder). You'll get a shipment email when the order ships. We're catching up on orders now though, so you might not have gotten a shipment email yet. Bunch of knobs and phone mounts going out this week and next.

@wileydavis Wiley, how small of a device will the phone mount hold (distance from top to bottom of the mount)? Also could you toss up a side pic of the mount just to see how much space is taken up by the Ram mounts and the phone mount. Thanks

2.25" is the smallest width it will clamp on. Here's a side shot not installed. I can grab a pic in the truck later today.

@wileydavis I have a 7" kindle fire tab that I use for navigation, can I hang that from an unholey mount?

The vent mount will support up to a pound, so the Kindle Fire should be fine. The Perfect Squeeze phone mount part won't fit a kindle, but our upcoming tablet mount would. But the vent ring itself won't have trouble with the Fire.

I have this set up and I give it a solid "A" grade. I've tested in my truck and on my motorcycle over rough desert wash board terrain. i love it, didn't move an inch. Customer service while ordering over the holidays was top notch. I use the 2" handle for the motorcycle, and a 1" handle for the truck. Moving the mount from bike to truck and back is a breeze.

My only nit picky complaint is that the mount does not have a "quick release" button. the switch in the back does not seem to do anything when the unit is tightened. in order to remove the unit, one must reverse tighten the knobs on the side (slight hassle). I would give product "A+" if it had a true quick release. (Again, i'm being nit picky here).

Overall, very very good product and customer service. Thank you Hondo.

Great! Do you have an idea when your tablet mount will be released? I would prefer to keep my money with the vendors on this site instead of the dreaded A-smiley company (used to work there...avoid them now).

Sometime this month. It's ready to go but we need to catch up on our backlog of orders first. That should be by the end of next week.

A bit more explanation as to why the button won't release when tight and how to set the grip so you don't need to tighten it every time:

Do I need to order the complete kit for 104$ to get all the pieces I need?

The bundle has all the pieces you need (Perfect Squeeze, two ram balls, ram arm, and un-holey vent mount.). The total is actually 139 as the 104 is what's added to the cost of the vent mount for the additional pieces. Not trying to be sneaky, It's just how are shopping cart software handles bundled items.
