I have a problem with my 04 Tacoma, I changed the alternator on Friday, (Quality reman) due to the fact that I was driving to work on Friday morning, and started to lose electrical power to accessories, headlights etc.
As I stated, I replaced the alternator, had them load test the battery, (1 weak cell, but otherwise ok), truck fired right up afterward, ran fine (better than before actually). Today, I started it up ran a couple of errands, stopped it, restarted a couple of times, after I got home and shut it off, it lost all electrical power (no lights anywhere, no radio, no accessories nothing. Doesn't click when the ignition is cycled, nada.
I've checked battery voltage at battery and at the fuse block. Checked continuity on starter cable, ground strap, ground cable positive to alternator all good, any ideas?
I replaced my ground from battery to body with new cable to be sure, cleaned all connections, still nothing. Can't even move into my garage, as it's in park and I cannot unlock the shifter.

I would say replace the battery. If the battery has a weak cell then it could very well be bad. How old is the battery?

Check your main fuses. They are on the driver side under the hood.

Is they any voltage at baterry terminals? If so how much? Were does it end? Power to positve post on starter? Maybe the 10 gauge wire from positive terminal to largefuse box lost power?

Power of 12.93 volts at battery terminals, currently searching for where it stops. I have continuity through all wiring to alternator and from battery to main terminal in main fuse block.

Replaced the alternator and battery, all good now. The original reman alternator was dead.
Changed the battery just to be safe.
