To those who were truly trying to help me with my rodent issue, Thank You for your input! For those that were alarmed when I stated that I had put poison under the hood, have no fear! I never said I sprayed or scattered poison. I merely placed four small (3/4 X 1 1/2") blocks that contain 0.005% Diphacinone to try to deter these pests. I would have never sprayed or scattered rat poison in such a place. As a matter of fact, it was my friend the technician who suggested my getting the blocks to try. Sorry if I offended anyone. As a GM employee of 15 years, I worked very hard to protect GM Technicians in many Dealerships from being mistreated, so I do understand your concern.

i read that thread. did anyone ask, "where do you park that truck?"

inside, outside? i decimated my local mice population with 10 wooden snap traps and a snickers bar. flat out, wiped them out.

i also read that mice wont enter a space that is lit up. so maybe a flourecent work light place under the hood? if you streetpark, this may not be an option.

and the rat blocks? no biggie. i imagine many more carcinogens lurking under the hood.
