No Floor Mats??

Just curious.

Did your Tacoma's come with any floor mats if you didn't get the optional All Weather Floor Mats?

Seems there should be some basic carpeted mats included, but I got none at all.

 

Which trim package did you get? Were they on the sticker? My TRD OR came with them.

 

Ive got TRD Sport, Prem/Tech Pkg & Tow package, Double Cab
No Mention on window sticker of mats.

I did see another one at the dealer with the "all Weather Floor Mats" listed on the options as a $200 option.
Is that what you have or do you have carpeted mats?

Carpet mats are 209.

Nothing is free. If you didn't buy mats, you don't get mats.

 

Trd sport - no mats, but it did have a $199 accent stripe that I can't wait to take off

 

Must be a Toyota thing.
My past Jeeps, BMW, Audi's have all come with a basic floormat.

Whats laughable then, is under the maintenance schedule in our owners book. The very first item says to check floor mats at 5000 miles..

 

I just got quoted $109 for all weather floor mats (front and rear) that aren't on my build sheet.

 

Order the all weather mats off Amazon/eBay and save yourself $100.

 

I have a Limited and it came with Carpeted and All Weather, mind you it is a Canadian Model.

The mats don't really work that well and I will be upgrading to Husky Exact Fits as soon as they are available.

I would not have paid extra for these mats.

 

No Manufacturer comes with "free" floor mats. Most vehicles have them included on the sticker but some don't. I specifically ordered mine without because I think it's a waste of money to spend $200 on carpet floor mats when I'm going to end up buying $150 WeatherTech mats. IMO

 

I did exactly this. Purchased these off ebay for $85. I was going to get the weathertech mats but I liked the "Tacoma" branding on these. They fit perfectly of course. And cover that rear hump that always gets beat up pretty quickly.

 

Toyota mats are "port" installed options... so if the dealer didn't build the truck with them you won't get any... but you also didn't get charged for them either...

 

No mats here. They ended up throwing in the all weathers, better than nothing but a cheap thin
mat for an all-weather. I'll be going with the x-act by Husky when they're available.

These look nice too for a little less cash but nothing for 2016 yet.

When I ordered my truck, I said I wanted nothing but the tow package, not even mats. The dealer said they come with them...check again. Needless to say, mine came with nothing but a tow package.

 

Floor Mats? Dude this is a Tacoma you don't need mats! This is another one of those unnecessary options like power seats, heated mirrors, heated rear window, fully boxed frame, rear disc brakes, etc. How dare you ask for floor mats.

 

I specifically ordered mine without since I'll be going with the Husky X-act

In another month, it will be a non-issue, because 90% of buyers will be able to have their aftermarket mats ready upon arrival. For now, I would go buy some $10 walmart specials if you need something interim.
