My first set of wheels I researched a lot and they worked well and looked good. I still have them so I may have them refinished and run them again someday. My new set I heard would be better for bigger tires but thats not the case. Really love the look but I cant go to 35's without major rubbing issues. My first lift was wearing out after 50k miles but served my needs like I had anticipated. I was not gentle on it and probably asked for too much from it at times. I knew when I bought it I would replace it in a couple years which I've now done.
Very true. I kinda got hooked and started getting really into pushing my truck off road being my first 4wd and seeing what I could make it do. I've started moving away from that and trying to focus on my initial purchase goal. Building it for camping adventures and not such a focus on crawling but just a good over all capability.

Hahaha, it was a total loss when i started. It was either haul it to the junkyard or do something with it... looking back I should have pushed it off a cliff lol!

And a stock sr makes 205-215 lol.

Did a little work today I have been putting off.

Rear diff breather mod, routed up to the inside of the tool box. ($20)

Crazy shit was, when i took the factory one off the diff, it let out a huge hiss! It wasnt working at all!

    Kinda scary!

Got the oem breather cleaned up and working again for a temporary cap until I find a solution I like.

Also , replaced the temporary screws holding the highlift jack in place with permanent ones. I was waiting to see if thats really where I wanted it mounted. It is ;)

    20200229_155721.jpg

Then washed up the old stock wheels and got them ready to sell on Craigslist.

Eh... this explains the oil on the old wheels.

I'm gonna dive into that next weekend and make sure they are still okay.

I'll finish the tranny, transfer case and front diff breather next weekend to.

Yeah. I think it might have been.

Not the end of the world though, I'll flush everything, check the seals and just give it all a good once over.

    Nicely done!
That is a really clean job!

I hate it when people swap and it looks like they just threw everything up into the engine bay! Lol

    Good morning sir!
Went to bed early last night. It was cold here yesterday so working on the truck in the driveway kicked my ass lol!

Been busy this morning also dealing with Craigslist flakes on the wheels but they are gone now so! Almost have enough for the next mod haha!

I'll be back on later Maner and check in on the Bigdaddy thread. The wife saw my wheeling pix and wants me to take her out today!

Chat at ya this evening bud!
