Mirror came with a factory harness that didn’t need any mods to fit. Plug and play. No issues at all.

Last month I bought and installed a 3 button home link, auto dim mirror with compass and matching blue backlighting from Bob. Install was quite simple and I didn’t have the auto dim feature to start in my 2018 SR.

I was spoiled by homelink several years back.

Yes, I know but the only thing the OP was bitching about was the garage door opener.

I’ve never had homelink and I work on garage doors so I wanted one, bought the newer version homelink5 mirror on Amazon.

Not standard or available as an option on the '19 TRD OR, even with tech and premium.

Why would a Garage Door come standard on any car?

A back step for when I get older, N-fab step bars , Carhartt seatcovers, 4Runner wheels, Topper, and "tats all folks"! --for now!!
I got a dumb home so I guess I am OK. Seriously I just use my door opener, like a previous poster said. I think the add-on/and factory openers are overpriced.
Additionally we have the homelink in our Subaru and all we use it for is a door opener!

It's a nice feature. Used to be a rarity but these days it's pretty much expected on upper tier trim levels. Like auto up/down windows, rear cameras, lane departure systems, engines that go 10,000 miles between oil changes and on and on. It's not your fathers Buick.

It is on mine. I have both tech and premium, so not sure which package included it.

Mine has it too, so definitely an option on 19 with Tech/Premium.

Back when I was a boy you got out of the car and opened the garage door by hand.

According to factory Toyota site, Homelink still isn’t available on any trim outside of the Limited and Pro, regardless of package add on. I contacted my local Southwest Region dealer (friend), who states it’s only a customer ordered post sale dealer add on in the SW (or do it yourself). He believes those that say it came with their vehicle by way of a “package”, could be from another region option service like the tailgate lock is in the SE (which we all know is not factory available, rather a $90 Pop n Lock product installed by the dealer for $300). Check the dealer addendum (if the deal uses that markup scheme), and see if your non standard option is included there...

All it takes is one @sshole to break into your truck and take your garage door opener and open your garage, unless you take the garage door opener into the house with you every time which is a pain in tue ass. Homelink won’t open the garage without the keys in the ignition. I like it for that reason alone.

I saw that too, and was surprised it was on my truck when I got it. It definitely was not listed anywhere as an addition.

Have built in Homelink on my '17 Corvette Grandsport, but it hasn't spoiled me.
