    Hi all,

Since I got the truck my horn has not been working. The other day my windsheild wipers turned themselves on and stayed on. Turned themselves off the next day. Also the windsheild squirters are not working now when I press the button?

Would these problems likely be a damaged clock spring?

My understanding is the clock spring only allows the horn circuit as the steering wheel is a moving part. Not sure what would cause wipers to come on and off by themselves. Bad wiring?

check for any opens or shorts in the wiring, blown fuses and/or relays, bad grounds. make sure the horn is plugged in,you can also put a couple jumper wires off the battery into the horn plug as a test to see if its in working order.

it could be the clock spring giving you the problem,i think it supplies the cruise control, horn and airbag IIRC
