For sale are the headlight assemblies off of my 2010 trd OR tac. They are both missing sidemarker and blinker bulbs. Other than that they have nothing wrong with them. I just got spyder headlights for the appearance that is why I no longer need these. I am in Walnut creek area and would prefer local. . Feel free to ask any other questions

i had them for 40 but two people messaged me saying it was too low lol and I was too lazy to do the research @kez329 @Kidwidataco im prob selling them for 40 to the original person who told me lol

 

Are these the smoked ones? 40 bucks is dirt cheap if there the smoked ones.

 

If these are the OEM Smoked headlights his price is about what the going rate is for good condition OEM Smoked TRD/Sport headlights with good lenses and all tabs intact. I know because I have a pair for sale too and I did the research before listing them. His price is slightly better than mine in fact & I've had lots of interest. This is a good deal and if someone is local to him and can get them w/o paying shipping it's a great deal.

The other option is to buy new from the dealership and the absolute cheapest I could find was $170 per headlight plus shipping... which is absurd on headlights if you weren't aware. I think the last pair of headlights I shipped a year or so ago was about $80 which was the cheapest I could find comparing all of the carriers. So new price for a pair of these plus shipping is well over $400 total & probably more like $425 +/-$10.

If you paid $60 for TWO pair of smoked OEM headlights you basically stole them and clowning others in their for sale thread for asking market value instead of giving them away is just plain rude.

 

unfortunately not smoked they are just the clear ones off my trd or. All tabs intact tho an no cracks or anything. Someone actually sent me the link to yours when they told me I should ask more!

 

actually after doing research 09-11 trd came with smoked headlights? How do I tell the difference. These are the headlights that came with the car ( my dad bought it from the dealer and I bought it from him) he said he never touched em.

 

Best way to tell is the interior bezel is smoked which, from your pictures, it appears as though yours are. You also need to make sure they're OEM too as some of the aftermarket ones look a lot like the OEM ones but won't last anywhere near as long and will have more problems during the lifespan.

yes these are the ones that came with the truck from the dealership when we originally bought the truck back in 2010

 

"dark chrome" is a better descriptor than "smoked" when it comes to the 09+ TRD headlamps.

If you look at the picture you posted @nick1401 you'll see the headlamp bulb bucket (inner reflector) is a bright chrome. The outer trim/bezel is a dark chrome. On 05-08 TRD and 05-11 non-TRD models both parts are bright chrome. Google image search it...

Your headlamps also appear to be the non-updated housings, judging by the reflector pattern on the turn signal lens (they were updated to address lens melting due to DRL). Still, your asking price of $180 is more than fair, considering their condition. GLWS.

Usually the 09-11 sport model comes with the smoked ones but I have seen some off road that had them as well. The headlights are usually mistaken as a BHLM, which makes them special.

 

It’s not hard to differentiate which headlights you have for sale. If your headlight have “bling” chrome housing those are basic oems. If the inner housing has a slight darker tone say “smoke chrome tint” those are 09-11 trd sports. See below on the difference. With that said, if you do have oem trd sports, that’s a good deal...

 

Would hate to see you sell oem trd sports for $40, but hey good for the buyer....
