I do accept paypal if that is the only option. I do prefer the use of my online stock checkout if at all possible though. Not just because it's easy for me, but it is also best for the customer. It provides automated updates as things change and provides a lot of helpful info and tracking abilities. Shoot me a PM with what you need and I will do my best to help!

Orders are going to USPS tomorrow. I was waiting for a box of bolts to send with a he bars and UPs brought it too me a day late and I wasn't able to get the boxes dropped before USPS closed. But they will all be there tomorrow and they are 2-3 shipping, so you will all have before next weekend! Plan those mod days hahahaha

so these ambers coupled with the high beams on (gotta do the mod still) should be sufficient for dirt fire roads at night? I really don't think I need the bigger light bar. Just go out once in awhile

The fog lights are best suited for helping light outside areas in front of the truck on paved roads mainly during bad weather or when your alone on a single lane road. I wouldn't necessarily say that they are the best choice for offroad use at night. Even setups like ditch lights are used for a similar thing to help fill in a dark spot when offroad and to the extreme left or right, but not as a replacement for purpose built offroad lights. There just isn't a cheap replacement for a good LED light bar or some good HID round lights. But stormy weather, on the road where you need extra lighting around the front of the truck, conditions where you don't want bright white light reflecting in your face, then these are great! Oh and they are good as spotting lights for offroad driving so people can see you even in dusty situations.

Also in other news more related to this thread, new pods are coming in the next 3 weeks. I have been working with @CaliRaisedLed and they are making some awesome new pods for me. Same 18W Amber or White LEDs as before, same Cali Raised quality and output, but now I will have a lot more in stock and they will have the super sweet Apex logo on them. I know it's something little and the same for you guys, but I am excited none the less. Here is a sample of the laser etching we finalized yesterday on a scrap part.

Any chance that the will offer a flood instead of a spot? I'm still fighting to get these aimed far enough in to work as driving/fog lights instead of pointing off to the sides of the road.

No we will not be doing flood beams. They only light up a small area around the LED and would not have much help once sitting in the truck... Shoot me a PM and we can talk about what issues you may be having, I will do my best to help find you a solution!

For others, just to answer any questions. These are aimed outward for two reasons. One is for fitment; the factory hols are very tight and don't allow the LED to be centered anymore than they are. Second they really help with adding additional outward light that is not provided by the factory beams. These are meant to supplement your factory beams, not replace them or over power them. In most bad weather/visibility situations we are looking for additional light outside of the standard beam pattern so we can see objects/curbs or other things that may be dangerous. If you want straight forward lighting these are not the right product for that. Some ditch light mounts with pods or if you want more a 32" LED bar behind the grill would be a big upgrade.

I haven't given up yet, because I really like the look of the new mounts. I am trying to get them aimed at the edge of the headlight beam as described, and pointed down at about the same angle so they hit the road at the same distance in front of the truck. Part of my problem is the need to remove the mounts to adjust the aim point, and the fact that I only had time to do this twice after the initial install - my issue, not a design flaw. I'll keep trying and PM you if I need help.

    Thanks!

Finally got these mounted on. My original plan was to fit Rigid D2's onto the face plate by modifying the rear brackets. As it turns out, using the Rigid flush mount and angle mount made it way easier. No welding or cutting of plastic needed. Just line up the angle mount and drill 4 holes. What I like most about using these angle mounts is that it covers up any gaps between the light and the mount.

The fog plate worked perfectly. It fit tighter and more secure than I was expecting. Thanks for making these, Madman!

This could be the solution for me. Do the lights point straight ahead now, or are they still pointing out to the side? Did the Rigids fit into the existing square hole, or was cutting needed?
