I've owned my 1997 Tacoma 2.4 DLX for 6 weeks now. My first new truck was a 1980 Toyota 4 wheel drive. I wish I had that truck. 30 years ago, time is soaring by. I have read threads on other forums but I chose this forum because the posters are helpful. And I need help. I'll post my question in another spot. I don't have auto education or background. My education is not much help when it comes to parts and DIY. THANKS!

Welcome to TW! Post away! There may be someone nearby that can lend a hand, or help you to learn how to work on the truck.

Added extra awesomeness to its original awesomeness.
Welcome aboard! This site has saved me easily a couple thousand dollars, with everything from general maintenance tips to repairs on various parts that I was able to do myself, or even point me in the right direction locally so I didn't settle for the dealer's repair costs.
