they may "look" fine but you dont realize the effect on your night vision till youre driving in the dark with them on and realize you cant see out your windows as well as if your cab was as dark as possible...

    it depends

if you have receipts for major things (like wheels/bumpers/etc) then you can list them...it may cost you a little bit more but i dunno...if you dont have receipts...it doesnt matter too much...and seeing as how i bought everything used and such...i dont list them...

I actually have a jeep now. Imagine that.
I suggest neons over LEDs if your talking about light bars. LEDs in light bars tend to leaves little circles of lighs if the surface is less than a foot away

Hey Lent- about your insurance question:

Most policies have like $1000 or os built into the poilcy to cover additional/aftermarket parts (enuf for a stereo and speakers or whatever- some basic things). If you keep receipts and god forbid the truck is a total loss they will usually cover that value. If you do significant modification and want to covered you need to call your company and give them a total value (with receipts) that you want covered...and then it may be a bit more depending on how extensive the mods are.

LMFAO @ 14 pages of this.........

BTW, did anyone clear up the mystery for you about WHY he is not allowing it? If not here's your answer....He's responsible & accountable for your actions until you grow up & leave his house. He is responsible financially & warrantywise for the vehicle that was provided for your use. It is his house & his rules & until you leave & are on your own you are bound by them like them or not. When it comes down to not seeing eye to eye with him for whatever reason, he owes you no explanation whatsoever, period. Ever heard "because I said so" ? It's the end all statement to kids trying to get their way & parents don't wanna play. Get your own life, get your own job, get your own place, make your own rules, simple as that. Might wanna slow your roll & enjoy being a privileged kid because life will come kicking you in the nuts soon enough & you will be wishing you were back under the parents wing back at their posh house they actually WORKED for to provide for their family. If you are unable to soak this up & understand it you'll find out soon enough when it's your turn to get the fuck out their house & do something for yourself & make a place in this world. Here comes another one of those cool statements from parents...The world doesn't owe you anything. Get out there & make the best of it. Good luck......

thread revival, and i realize i was stupid for wanting to go behind my dads back...now i allways talk about moding the truck and at the end i say "when its mine" and he just laughs so i think hes cool with the idea just when its mine or the warranty is up

You should grab up your nerf bars and your satoshi grill and custom rims and bring them all into the living room throw them on the floor and just yell "WELL FINE DAD IS THAT GOOD ENOUGH FOR YOU" and then run out crying.
