    Also lifting weight will indirectly target fat loss. Muscle burns calories, therefore the more muscle you have the more calories you're bodies burns throughout the day. Doesn't mean you have to become a bodybuilder but adding resistance training and cardio into a routine will greatly increase you're chance of losing weight.

    I much prefer doing a little extra cardio after weights to burn more calories than to try and cut calories through food and being a hangry SOB without training at all.
