Magic erasers are frigin awesome. They're good for tons of shit, including cleaning leather and I personally use it to clean the top of my console and door sides.

It's nice to know it'll also remove tar!!

RokBloks mudguards, tonneau cover, cut my old LB bed mat to fit my SB, weathertech mats, RedLine hood struts, LED interior and plate lamps, child seat in the rear (my kid is the best mod so far!), center console light and "restaurant" organizer, floor-mount phone cradle, red grille emblem, red tow hook.
Just don't use it to clean a pan... I had a calphalon pan that ended up with a sticky residue on it from cooking- i used the eraser and it was the only thing to take it off! BUT, now that part of the pan is no longer "non-stick". Otherwise, those things are the BOMB!!!

Magic eraser has abrasives in it so be careful when cleaning things with luster as it will remove the luster. I personally wouldn't use it on clear coat paint, but that's just me.

You should be careful with them. It says on the package to not use on vehicles. It does work very well though. I have used them several times to get junk off the truck.
